Description:

The Assembly of First Nations (AFN), Inuit Circumpolar Council (ICC-C) and the Métis National Council (MNC) will be presenting a panel of Indigenous leaders and representatives on Indigenous-led climate action in so-called Canada. Learning from the past thirty years of climate advocacy, the panelists will discuss practical examples from their respective territories on what Indigenous-led climate action means to them. Each panelist will share from the perspective of their National Indigenous Organization on the last thirty years of Indigenous advocacy, and then discuss the implications for COP 30 and beyond. It will end with an open question and answer period.
